Thursday 15th April 2010 – Results.
18 players submitted their selections today, however, Shilly found another non-runner, his third this month. It was looking a fairly average sort of a day with a couple of winners at Newmarket, one at Ripon, another at Kempton, and things seemed to have settled down for the night, until the last race at Kempton. Well this result has just blown the competition apart. I’ve looked at the selection over and over again, before today 4 wins from 71 races, an 11year old racing against mostly 4 and 5yo’s, beaten over 26 lengths in its last race, so how in heaven’s name did MATTG select Millfields Dream at 33/1 to come home first today. Maybe MattG can give us an insight into why he chose that one. Well done to him anyway, as he regains the lead he had at the 4 furlong pole. In second place today was ????0249 on Cocktail Charlie at 10/3, in third place was ????? on Equiano at 11/4, his first winner of the month. In fourth place was myself, ????? on Misaro at 5/2, and fifth was ?????BEENER on Elusive Pimpernel at 10/11. So MattG has thrown down the gauntlet now, and legged it out front by a wide 11 length margin. Can anyone haul him back.
Our leader from yesterday ????, must be extra gutted that his choice today finished 2nd at 20/1. Great tipping from both guys. Anyone still interested to continue after today ?
Well we are only at the half way point of the month, and if these guys can do it, why can’t someone else ? They’ve set the target…………can we hit it ??
