I get hundreds of emails which all ask the same questions so i thought i would put this page up to help with your enquirys



Do you only do all weather racing?
no i now offer free ratings which are for all races in both the uk and ireland as well as my usual speed and handicap figures for the all weather

Why are you so cheap?
This is always a hard one to answer, i aim to offer value for money in this hard economic climate we now find ourselfs in, by all means you can pay more if you wish but i think my pricing plans are reasonable.

Do you use bookies or betfair?
i soley use betfair and use the racingtraders software to trade in and out of my betting selections, i get better odds on betfair even with commission taken.

how long have you been betting?
I am classed as a novice and have only been producing speed figures since oct 2010, i started betting in march 2010. its my maths skills which have helped with this project.

How much do you bet as a point?
We use £10.00 a point on all our bets e/w. We started of at £2.00 a point and over time have increased this as our bank balance has grown.

What has been your biggest winner?
Our biggest proofed winner was 66/1 on the all weather.(270/1 betfair)

Do you bet on every selection you post up?
We use the edge system to create our bets and no we do not bet on every selection, we use our results as if you had bet on every selection e/w so to give an accurate reflection of the results.

Do you do accumilators and combination bets?
We do bet a lot of combis and forecasts and these are sometimes highlighted with the edge system, we did do it solid for one month and posted the results on the combi page at the top of this blog.

Why do you only accept nochex and moneybookers?
I dont use paypal after losing thousands of pounds to a dodgy chinesse company to which is still outstanding to date.I am fully aware that by not accepting paypal i may lose business but thats the chance i am willing to take as i will never give them my business again.

Would you recommend any other services?
Of course, mark dillion boylan over at the actuary speed site, he is a very good compilier of all weather speed figures, as well as dave over at formbet. both good honest people who dont mind offering there time to help anyone out.

Do you offer a free trial.?
Yes all you need to do is send an email to mjgpromotion@tiscali.co.uk and i will sign you up for a free 7 day trial.(this is operational during the all weather season only)

Why the bright colours?
I like to be able to quickly see what horses are speed related and find my bizzare colour scheme helpfull and easy to view.
my eyes are not what they used to be and staring at figures all day is taking its toll.

Why do you post the card and then the results on two different posts.?
i post in the morning well in time for the days racing and then post the results seperatley, i use excel datatables in my database and these are copied from here, once i have pasted the table it cant be changed or modyfied so i find it easier to do two seperate posts.

Do you send the results out to your subscribers?
I send out the cards on a daily basis but the results are all posted on my web page at the end of the day so all can view easily, saves time mostly

Do you post anywere else?
You will often find me on timeforms radio facebook page, they are a great community there and i do get some great info from the regulars, as well as winners enclosures facebook page, and twitter

Do you proof your tips anywere?
All the proof you need is right here on this site, the posts are posted at least 12hrs before racing and the results are pasted seperatley to avoid backfitting accusations.,i have considered this but as clearly stated that time is never on my side and with producing figures and doing my web site takes up more than enought of my time so i try to keep the admin bit as low as possible so i can enjoy betting on our selections
