well another month has passed and on a better note than last year, in september 2010 we managed to have our first major losing month which wiped 25% of my bank and cost me the sum of 1310.00 smackers which at the time was a complete blow to me and was nearly the end of the speedcapper site, but i continued on and managed to come back with some cracking wins of the following months ..
jump forward a year and we managed to finish this out of season month into a profitable one, ill start with the loses and work upwards,
the edge system and the jockey system both racked up a loss this month, the jockey system lost 30 points on the singles and the edge system lost 35 points, so thats 650.00 quid down using 10 quid bets,
the free speed figures took back what it gave, here i always recommend the 3rd speed rated figure being the best performing and if you had stuck to just this figure then a small profit of 12.5 points would have been achieved, if you done all 3 at every track then you would of made a massive 28 points extra as the 1st rated produced 49 points and the 2nd rated manged to lose 23 points, again the 2nd rated is always the worst perfoming figure and if avoided then 61.5 points could of been achieved using the 1st and 3rd rated......if you look at the stats on the free speed page on my website http://speedcapper.blogspot.com/p/free-speed-system.html you can clearly see the best figures and tracks to bet on..
so we are back down to a 200.00 quid loss at the moment which isnt looking good, so first we have placed at lot of bets and lost money along the way, now at this stage i would like to point out a few things which always makes me more money than i can publish in my results for the following reason, i soley use the exchanges and even thou i do pay a 3% commission i do get extremely better odds than you may get at the bookies, getting the best price offers is ok and should be used to its fullest but it does not include betfair and if i use the horse tenancy as an example you will see why, when i tipped up tenancy on the aw it was peaking 40/1 on the bookies and 80/1 on the exchanges, i got matched at 120/ 1 and 110/1 using ten quid a point using 2 points.....tenancy went on to win at a sp of 60/1 which would of made me 1180.00 on the bookies but i managed to squeeze 2280.00, thats nearly double and a wooping 1100.00 extra which is huge difference......its unfair for me to post my true results up as we need to find a level medium so this is why i have to use bookie sp when complying my results..
anyway we are 200.00 quid down still and will move on to the profits..
the handicap figure saved the month for us and made a wooping 104 points profit for us, alot of bets again but with the 1040.00 quid profit we managed to finish the month on a 840.00 quid profit at ten quid points, not the greatest of months but compaired to last year a vast improvement...
getting the tracks right for maximum profit, if i had to put the tracks in order of good to bad it would simply be southwell being the king then wolverhampton then kempton and finaly lingfield....this is made very clear in the stats and on several pages on my site.....so if you took this concept and worked with it knowing the 1st and 3rd are better than the 2nd then the results do change alot...
well off to the next month and the start of the 2011 aw season, armed with this knowledge you should be able to leavethe worst figures alone and concentrate on the best performing figures that we use and have followed for 500 days now so the stats are alot more reliable than in the beginning and some great patterns have been spotted along the way and when we find new ones we will of course keep you updated
happy punting and goodluck in your quests
